Biography
Seongwon Lee is an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at Kookmin University, where he leads the Computational Intelligence Laboratory (CILAB).
Before joining Kookmin University, he was a researcher at ETRI’s Visual Intelligence Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. and B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University in 2023 and 2016, respectively, advised by Prof. Euntai Kim.
His research focuses on physical AI: connecting multimodal perception, spatial intelligence, and embodied learning so that machines can understand their surroundings and act in the real world.
